Major Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Large accounts with specific requirements
  • Customer calls
  • Customer emails
  • WIPS and Accruals – Profit and Financial Health
  • Quotes
  • Customer relationships
  • Customer requested reporting.
  • Service issues/escalations owner, decision maker and resolutionist
  • Handle all incoming calls in a timely, professional, courteous manner.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, as well as recognize new business opportunities.
  • Support sales with new and growth opportunities
  • Maintain all internal and external reporting needs as necessary and as requested by client or management.
  • Determine best course of action on potential shipment delays/failures and have ability to make timely, appropriate, independent decisions to resolve service issues.
  • Assist in correctly categorizing services issue to ensure proper reporting.
  • Must be able to occasionally work weekends and after hours during peak times.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested.
Required Skills, Experience, and Education:
  • Must be confident, team-oriented person, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have thorough knowledge of specific account SOPs and KPIs
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 10+ years freight forwarding experience.
  • Proficient in routing, accounting/billing, and tracking
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
  • Self-managed and highly motivated
  • Displays integrity, reliability, empathy, and a strong work ethic.
  • Results-oriented and displays sense of urgency.
Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:
  • Intermediate to advanced level of experience with Excel
  • Proficient in CargoWise Operating System
